M-C Dairy does not add any chemicals into their dairy products and only use pure and natural ingredients. While most cheeses in Canada are made using rennet or acids, M-C Dairy's cheese cloth strained and pressed fresh cheeses are strictly made by using bacterial cultures and are Kosher and Halal certified.
