Renegade Harvest celebrates Ontario's Hayter's Turkey by brining their breast meat for a week with a variety of pickling spices, garlic and wild bergamot. A corn-crusted, homestead recipe, hand-cut into thick Canadian bacon fashioned slices.
Cooking Instructions (Serves 2-4):
- Oven: 375°F/190°C for 15 to 20 min
- Pan/Grill: Cook on medium heat in an oiled pan until internal temperature reaches 160°F/71°C for 10 min.
Ingredients: Canadian Turkey, sugar, salt, pink salt, garlic, peppercorn, wild bergamot leave and flowers, cornmeal, canola oil
Products can be stored refrigerated at 3°C for 3 to 5 days. For longer storing, we recommend freezing at -18°C. Renegade Harvest products are made fresh for the market and retain their quality and flavour for up to 2 to 3 months when stored properly.
